Redlinemax.com- New 5th gen bumper

Well as most of you may know we have been producing a new front bumper for the 6th gen guys. The pictures of the bumper were deputed at the Redlinemax.com Northeast meet yesterday and recieved a great review. So here goes.. The first picture is a picture of the poster of the photoshop that we made the bumper off of, the second and third are rough pictures of the production plug. All that is needed to be made on this bumper is the center bar in the kit. The mold will be completed this week and rolled out early next week.

We would also like to thank the original designer for designing this bumper.
This photoshop has been floating around for years and many people wished it had really become a reality, so we made it one!!! Yes the designer has been contacted!!!!!! We try to work with org member in as many of our endeavors as possible since you are the community we are trying to support

It seems like it will flow with the car well. It does not have those gay sharp lines it so it should look good.

Ok, just saw this thread that I just replied about in the 5th gen forum. Looks very good, and the match to the original photoshop came out very well. As mentioned, it would be nice to be able to use oem foglights. Would the OEM grill be adaptable to this? Or, will a new grill be provided?

The lines flow nicely with the 5th gen body style. Looks like you have another winner.

This is what's going to make this kit look complete!

Also just now noticed that you've stated this is for the 5th gen, and under the photo it states 2000-2001. Am I assuming correctly that there won't be one available for the 5.5 gen?

No integrated clear side markers, no fog lights.......looks like I'll be going with the Stillen Classic. Other then those things I mentioned, looks nice.

Meh, still too much gaudiness there for my liking and takes away from the subtle luxury style the Maxima comes from the factory, but I digress.

I think you guys should've made that skyline bumper photoshopped my maximazero (correct me if i'm wrong)... i thought someone was producing that bumper, but i guess not. maybe you guys (redline maxima) could produce that front bumper.

if you guys dont have any pics of this kit on an actual car, this thread is worthless, its been about a week now and there is no talk about how much it cost, when it will be available on the site, bc it isn't available right now, and how the hell it looks on an actual car, not a Photoshop car, hell i can make a geo metro look good in photo shop

Why bother making an aftermarket bumper if it's not even going to look at least as good as the stock one? IMO, a better designer is need for a new body kit.

IMO, this thread with pics is worth enough. Those pics and design as he stated were just the preproduction bumper done that isnt even complete. It looks good to me. The lines flow well, I think it wouldve been nice to add the front side marker holes in there as well, but you cant be choosy. Well thought out design, Im glad it was finally made myself even thought I dont have a 5th gen. Its something different and variety isnt a bad thing at all.

You know what the scheme is here? It's going along the same lines as the M bumper on the 4th gen. Which I think is a great idea, cause the 4th gen looks nice with it. It seems as though this is the updated/newest version created for the newer model. I like them both.

That actually was a design decision made by me, if you notice the picture doesn't have the corners in it but when creating the kit the manufacturer asked if we wanted them in or out but I think when on the car, you will notice that the bumper will flow nicer and smoother without those lights.

Well see!!!

How is one supposed to pass inspection w/o the front sidemarkers? I sure as hell am not going to replace the bumper every year when inspection time comes around.

Who ever said that you need bumper lights to pass inspection?????

you will pass just fine w/out bumper lights. most cars dont even come w/them.

Every car comes with them. The thing is that some cars have them integrated into the headlamp or corner lamp assemblies. It's required by law to have an amber reflector on the front-side of the vehicle.

Exactly. Horrible decision IMO. Unless you have a hookup, it's almost impossible an inspection station would overlook that, at least around here. Most places here give me crap for my clear sidemarkers & make me replace them w/stockers everytime @ inspection. Can't imagine the hassle w/non-existent side markers in the front.
