I'm keen to donate after picking up so good info on the org.. but 1 question.. whats the search function like??

Does it give useful results or is it still like searching for a needle in a hay stack?

 

due to reposts, you may still need to do a little sifting, but finding forums like http://forums.maxima.org/forumdispla...ysprune=-1&f=3 is priceless. (where this thread belongs).

 

Who cares?...if you picked up good info, than donate anyway. You are not buying the search function, you get it as a perk for donating.
