I was just wondering if anyone knows why they never made DDEs for the max in a different color. I've seend the red ones for the BMW and i think it would look sexy on the max. It would really stand out especially with the Hids on.

 

I like them the way they are. They still stand out at night with my hids on. + red is illegal to have in the front of your car anyway. I got pulled for having red foglights that I painted to match my Accord back in my ricer days.

 

white looks clean and professional, you just cant beat it.

Umnitza did make a small amount of blue DDEs...but it's only for big orders.

Email umnitza and he will tell you. When I last talked to him he said those were special order and if I could get some people, he would do it. I just wanted the white ones though. The blue is illegal, and I have them on all the time with my headlights (didn't want switches).

 

What fogs are you running man?

 

Umnitza's older Xtec 6000K H3 fogs. They used to be more purple/white. Now umnitza made them blue/white.

 

I think the white is perfect... SEXY

 

I was at a stop light today and 2 modded Jettas could not keep their eyes of my DDE's. They kept asking me to turn them on so they could see them. White is def the cleanest looking color.

 

I get people constantly looking at my car as I drive past. I work at a BMW dealership and everybody loves them there, moreso than the stock BMW lights

 

 

^^^ that looks evil. That would scare childing and young girls looking back and seeing that moving towards you.

don't get me wrong, i like the whites. But considering that i am paying such a large amount of money for something that dosen't do anything but to look good, it would be nice to have a little variety.

and yes i still think that would look sexy on the max. especially with the hids on.

The red ones for BMWs is achieved by inserting a red plastic film where the in the actual light housing. Doesn't look very good, if you ask me... but what do I know? I'm just a newb

So these DDEs come stock on 5th Gens? Or did you guys install them? They look bad as hell!

 

We all installed them... by the means of cooking the headlights and glueing on the rings

 

Remember, they are called Predator now

Polak those lights are so SEXY! that is my background on my comp if you don't mind....I do think red would look cool like that bmw, looks really sinister.
