Please use the Search feature for this one or the Maxima.org page, there is a write up about this.

But just to amuse ppl, NOS is great for that surge of power that you need, but for constant power (all the time) go with the S/C. I believe both have about the same amount of wear on the engine, depending on the owner. S/C cost about 4K, while NOS cost about 500.00 plus about 30.00 for a 10lbs fill up of NOS.

You will find my answer on your post in the 4th gen forum.

BTW, if you are interested in NOS, there is still a special deal at JC Whitney for $375 shipped to your door. It comes with a 50, 60, & 70 shot. It will be over at the end of June 01.

The kit includes everything you will need for a working NOS system.

Yes, this is what i used and more. I had to buy some extra things. Aside from the kit, i bought a a/f gauge, EGT gauge, some brass fitting fdor the Fuel Preesure Safety Switch, Window Switch, and Purge kit. I will soon be buyin a bottle heater.

Yes you can install it yourself. If you are mechanically inclined and have patient you can install the kit yourself. I spent 2 weeks installing it. I was taking my time. I spent an hour or two everyday slowing installing it. No room for mistakes with NOS. If there is someting wrong.. lets just say .. BOOM!

Can you post prices on how much you spent on that stuff so I can have a total $ amount to look at if I wanted to do a similar setup. Also, how many "shot" are you running?

I'd vote for a Supercharger. BTW, I think Vic is selling his.

If you just want power to race now and then, at the track or whatever, then go for nitrous. If you want power all the time (like me) go for a SC. If money is an issue, nitrous is the obvious choice but I would do a SC or just settle for exhaust mods. One advantage of the SC is that you can get used to how the car behaves under boost without springing for bottle after bottle of nitrous.
