Totaled my Maxima

Last night I totaled my maxima, fliped it over and walked away with my gf and my friend. Cops were really suprised that we just walked away with a few cuts and black and blues. I guess maxima saved my life which I'm really thankful about.

I'm upset that I've never showed my maxima to the orgers. I wanted to put a Stillen kit to complete the look.

I need an advice. What are the steps that I need to make to get as much money out of insurance as possible. No other cars where involved in the accident. Towing guys didn't let me take all the aftermarket parts off of my car and I'm afraid that insurance won't give me **** for it.
So what do I do in my situation, please help.

First nobody was hurt that bad. Thank God. 2nd go to the shop where they towed your car and take the aftermarket parts off before the adjuster gets there. They can not stop you, its your car. Warren

I was at the shop and the guys told me that I can't take anything off until adjuster comes in.
If I take everything off then the car will look like its been vandalized or something, thats what the shop guy said.

So are there any insurance scams that I need to know about? How can I make as much money out of this as possible?

Well, we had a divinder, then slid on the side for a few seconds and then flipped over. I don't have pics since my camera was not with me. But it was bad.
I actually almost had tears in my eyes when I saw my car ****ed like that.

So you ran up the leading edge of a divider and flipped it like it was a stunt ramp?

Well my car is more damaged then that accord above.

I don't know if you know route 20, its located between Paterson and Fair Lawn. Basically its snake shaped. There are accidents every day and many people lost lives.

Wow, glad you and your friends are okay. Maximas are pretty safe cars. You shouldn't have any problems getting your stuff from your car unless the shop is going to take them, since you may not be able to claim w/ insurance.

I would go get your stuff off the car because he can not tell you what you can and can't do with your car.

I hope you're not looking for people to be sorry for you. You asked for it and you put your woman in danger. What if you had taken her life by doing something like this? I hope you learned your lesson.

Wait a minute. So you were on a road doing 80-90 MPH knowing that many people have lost their lives and you still proceed to go this fast?

You should be thankful you and your passengers walked away with nothing but a few scratches.

I live by the Dragon one of the best roads in the US, and certainly a hell of a lot more dangerous than route 20 I'm sure, but if I decide to head up it, I'm not gonna go all out especially with my g/f in the car or anybody else for that matter!

So let's get this straight....you want to participate in an insurance 'scam' to get as much money as possible out of the insurance company because you drove like an idiot?

Don't trust the guys at the shop. When I went to pick up my belongings from the shop they had scrumage through my car to look for anything they can get including all my change in the ash tray. And also I wasn't able to take my tools to start parting it out. They were like just take the esentials.

I was asking for a sugestion so that insurance company won't rape me, instead all of you are crying about that I learned my lesson. Accident is an accident. I'm sure all of you don't drive with speed limit.
I don't fly every day, but once in a while I like to drive fast.

Anyways, as of now I don't have things for sale because I need to see which car I will buy.
If not, I will make a for sale post.
Thanks to everyone who was trying to help and not just be a smart ***.

I have some pictures of the car, I took them today. If anyone is willing to post them, let me know.

80-90 mph on a turn and flying into the air and flipping over a nearly 3000lb car.. sounds like fun

as for insurance scam, sue the city, tell them a pot hole cause the wheel to bend and loose control of the car

Honestly, what will suck the most is when you do get back into a ride, based on what you told us of the incident, your insurance may cost more than your new car note. Good luck, this may have been a hard lesson, but a good one...

God speed bro...
