All members of Maxima.org (I.E. If you're reading this) get 25% off retail prices for all Nissan parts. 25%. Let me repeat it:

If you are a member of Maxima.org you get 25% off.
If you are a member of Maxima.org you get 25% off.
If you are a member of Maxima.org you get 25% off.
If you are a member of Maxima.org you get 25% off.

I am currently working on the website courtesyparts.com. Right now we're focusing on the Z32 (1990 to 1996 300ZX). The 4th Gen Maxima section hasn't been touched in quite some time.

The game plan is this: All prices posted on Courtesyparts.com will be 20% off retail prices, this is for anyone and everyone on the Internet. We are currently working out a way to allow Maxima.org guys to get there 25% discount online, but for now, the phone is the only way to do it, as the A32 (1995 to 1999) Max section hasn't had its turn yet. However, for the prices/products we do have online (Genine Nissan Parts), you can take the price, divide it by .80, then multiply by .75 to get YOUR price when you call.

If you have any questions you can call or email me personally: kaleb@courtesyparts.com, 1-800-527-1909.

No problem, Courtesy has been with us since the beginning, there's no way we'd lower the discount. Make sure you go to the SOURCE to get your info :0)

I guess I should throw a couple of cents in here as well ->

since this post I'm sure is in response to my previous one:

<A HREF="https://maxima.org/forums/showthread.phtml?threadid=3955">Here's the thread</A>

This whole courtesyparts.com has been a bit confusing from the get-go.....

Such questions as:

Is it 20 or 25 percent?

What's the minimum shipping charge?

Do I have to identify myself as a maxima.org member?

Can I just give you my account number for the 25 percent discount?

Blah, blah, blah.

From Kaleb's posts, obviously Courtesy has undertaken a major task in simplifying parts ordering and getting parts to us as quick and cheap as possible.

I appreciate that, but the service on the parts ordering end on the telephone has taken a hit in the past year. I seem to be hearing more and more complaints about QOS (i.e. Quality of Service). I'm sure this is temporary and related to the effort and resources involved in getting the internet portion of parts up for all of us, but it still concerns me.

For now, most parts such as plugs, dist cap/rotor, o2 sensor, etc. that I will order will go through carparts.com (until they screw up or stop having percent off coupons). However, Courtesy will be my first stop when I need a genuine Nissan part, especially once the online stuff is figured out.

My $.02,

I have a question:
Your instructions say to divide the price by .80 and then multiply by .75
How is this 25% off?

EX: $80 / .80 = $100
100 X .75 = $75

25% off of $80 would be $60 not $75.

Did you make a mistake in your instructions?
Just want to clear things up.

what's hard to understand?
he is giving 25% off the *list*, not off the price on their site since it's already 20% off the *list*.
In another words, you take an additional 1/16 off the website price, that's *your* special price for being maxima.org member.

Oh ok...ding ding ding

The light went off. So for being a maxima.org member we get an additional 5% off from everyone else.
Sounded alot better when it was 25% off of their price...oh well.
