so my check engine light is on... but the code pulled says no failure detected..

mine came on too, around the same time my bumper was being fixed at the dealership, so I had them check it out and they said the code gave nothing, and then they did a quick check on my car and nothing was wrong....

my guess is that one of the sensors is being a punk. see if they can replace it. same thing is probably happneing to mycar, but I was bringing it in for something at the service center anyway (punks missed an oil leak in my "rigorous 89-point inspection), so I told them to check the ECU for me.

Something on your car tripped the ECU.. but by the time you tried to check it.. the problem went away. Just Reset the ECU and see if it comes back later. It could have been anything.

blame it on the rain! just reset it, and go from there. actually water could be the culperate.

is that a technical fix "being a punk"...?? he's having a problem determining the actual sensor that is at fault...what sensor are u talking about? how can they replace something when it doesn't show up in the codes?

best thing is to reset the light and see if it pops up again.

i did reset it and am waiting on the light to show back up... i was going to take it to the dealership but then i figured if i got a no error code back, they couldnt determine the problem either

hehe..stupid rain
