flashing airbag lamp--seems like a new fix

I've been resetting the computer for a couple years, and when the lamp goes off, it's usually off for months. Well, it came back a couple weeks ago, and various resets didn't clear it. I also moved the seat back and forth etc. without success. So I decided to look under the driver's seat, and I simply nudged two wires for the side airbag. First time I turned the key the lamp was off (computer was already in diag. mode). That's the first time I got the lamp off that way. There's no way I'll pay over $500 for bad wiring from the factory, NO WAY! There's about as much chance of that as my buying another Nissan product. Probability is around 0.00001
