Quality Car Cover!!

I will be storing my car for a while at my parents house while I got to college. I will be back by thanksgiving and depending on how things go, I will either take the car with me, or leave it. Now, the car will be sitting outside during the next few months. I need a cover to protect it, but don't want to spend a ridiculous amount. Any advice?

uh, thanks squash, but a little excessive for my needs. plus, my car will be outdooes. i think 2 da max has good advice with a think and waterproff one. the more layers, probably the better protection and i gotta make sure it ahs a scratch-free inner layer.

damn 86max....i thought i was on this thread more..but look at you!!! 4 months n 1000+ posts???? ur insane!!!!!!!! neways...the cheapest way to go would be getting one of the silver tarps from home depot, the blue ones don't really withhold rain that much. i work in a flea market, trust me...the silver tarps are MUCH more durable and MUCH more waterproof...

Rain X has made started making car covers. To fit the maxima shouldn't be no more than $50.

Different sizes-- different prices --- from like $25 and ^

I have seen then in car mag's like J C Whitney and at different on-line sites... i'll try to find a link in my history and post it up for you.

Those bubble things are really great if ya live where hail and what-not happen alot.

But just for rain and UV protection -- a basic cover that is water resistant will do ya just fine
