I know that people like to see pictures to believe that everything has been done. Some people just like to keep everything hush so that the whole world doesn't know what you have. Personal preference I guess.

I can't FedEx it, cause its a flammable item, so it will have to go ground.

Its says its "not legal for highway use" like all other performance parts, its just a liability thing. But if you got pulled over and you had it in your trunk, you couldn't get a ticket for it.

Sorry, to get a sticker, you gotta be a quick Maxima, not a poser...but I will come up with a "fake" sticker you can put on your site.

are you still holding a grudge beacuse us NorthEast guys beat your record with just a nos setup?? don't hate because Jamie spanked your car with just nos and his special intake.. i suppose the fake sticker would be the one you have on your cellphone shop? since its really not a performance shop

as for your no ticket.. i suppose its different in texas up in nyc area if you get pulled over with that they pretty much know what your doing with it..

if you actually took your car to street races you'd probably find that out.. but you prefer to trailer that **** cause your tranny might go.. oh wait.. you upgraded it.. hahahhaha

ya better go get packed up for that cell phone convention or your "performance" shop might go outta buisness not like that ever almost happend before
I only post the pics for the info. I'm not sure how you can post pics on modifications you haven't done, that would be hard.

If you want some of the pics of my engine rebuild to post on your site, I will send you some. Just tell me what modifications you wanna say you did, and I will send you the pictures for it

hahah.. sure sure.. sounds like a good deal.. but then i'd have a ****ty engine like the one your building.. i usually keep quiet to your picture posts.. because i don't wanna take the spotlight away.. people know what i run.. and i feel that i don't have to prove **** to a maxima community.. my team knows what i run as does a few people on this board.. other than that.. i could really care less.. especially what some fruit cake who owns a cellphone turn "performance" shop thinks

....yawn.....

can't you think of anything else to say? Come on...I thought you were witty?

But seriously, I still wanna know how the "internals" were replaced without removing the engine?

I'm having to do it the old fashioned way, not the "new school way" where you just cut & paste your modifications.

What makes you think the engine wasn't removed? Just because it's not all chromed out and shiny. I'm missing your point here.

Jealous? not hardly. A "non-believer"? yes I am. Who's Maxima has beaten who's? I know tons of people that have seen my car run, but no-one has seen the "other Maxima" is it that secret?

I don't keep it a secret, cause its a community board, and its not BS. I'm not doubting anything, but its a little hard to believe without anyone having seen it.

A few years back I had people giving me grief over some runs, so I posted to results, guys saw me at the track, etc..Its makes it more believable.

If we're gonna keep it all secret, please let me know.

I've seen cars with engine swaps that don't shine up their engines. And that car had a turbo and a nitrous setup. He didn't cut and paste it. I can give you his number too.

BMW X5? please. I have a truck, not a tall car. My daily driver is a 2000 328. My truck is a 2001 Chevy 2500HD crew cab (we can put your X5 in the back and take it to races, they allow go-carts in the pits, hehe)....

Lets see, $40,000 for the truck, and $40,000 for the car, so for $80,000 I got a BMW AND a truck, and all you got for $55,000 is one BMW that looks like a truck.

Businessman? please. hehe
very impressive.. and yet your maxima still isn't finished?? you run out of money on those 40grand cars??

jeez don being a "mechanic" you of all people should know you shouldn't have to explain you took the engine out to upgrade rods and pistons.. doh..

hey phil.. did you put gas in it when you ran it at teh track too?

Where was this posted? this thread is all fukked up.

I'm not trying to prove anything, I've already done it. I don't know whos site it is, nor does it matter.

I just wanna know how you installed "Nissan Upgraded Internals" without removing the engine. If you car is a 10 sec car, great, I'm glad for you and commend you on your work and acheivement. I just wanna know how you replaced the internals without removing the engine. Thats all. you don't have to tell me all your secrets, just gimme a hint to this one, dude.

Well Don, if you want to get technical about it. It IS possible to remove the crank, rods and pistons while the engine is still in the car. It doesn't make alot of sense unless there is some very specific reason to do it, but it is possible.

Not in this car, you have to pull the upper and lower oil pans, and you most definately could not do this with the engine in the car. You might if you pulled the heads, but the heads haven't been off either. The crank would have to be unbolted from the flywheel so the tranny would have to come out (or be dropped down), so why do all that when all you have to do is pull the motor?

We've established the engine hasn't been out of the car, now its a matter of how the "internals" were replaced without doing so.

Its all bullsh**, lets just leave it at that.

I still don't see why you think the engine wasn't pulled out. The fact that it isn't all cleaned up isn't a good enough reason.
