I was down about a half quart of Mobil 1. I've had it in since October with 7K miles....thank you shing and Bill. Anyway....I'm pretty pleased that in all 7k miles I've only used less than a qt. I do occasionaly drive hard but for 90% of the time I'm easy. All this on a VG with 70K. The stick read halfway between L and H and I belive L means add one qt. Well they didn't have any mobil 1 so I just regular mobil and threw in 1/2 quart. Is it ok to mix like that? Its only till next thur when I get my fresh Mobil 1, nissan filter, car wash all for 34.95.....at the dealer......plus I get the pepper the sales reps on the cars.

 

Yes it's ok to mix. In fact that's what the synthetic blend oil is...part synthetic and part not. Cheap fix till your next oil change. I do it all the time as my car with 101K also uses about 1/2 quart every 5K or so.
