Canyon Run Pics and a rubbing tire question.
Me and a few friends went Canyon Driving over the weekend and I took some pics along the way. It was a very nice drive. Although I found out that my back tires were rubbing on some sections of the road. A few cm of sidewall was rubbed off, would that mess with the tires structural integrity? It really sucked as I backed off a bit when I found my back tires were rubbing. I also recorded the drive so when I get it upload to my computer, I will put it up, but here are the

Ha, Nismo answered everybody for me but nah, I wasn't playing catch up to everybody. My buddy with the STI was killing all of us but I kept up with everyone else until I found out my back tires were rubbing and I just took it easy after that. I will post up the vid soon but it is freakin huge, about 300 megs, dunno if u guys would want to d/l that as it would be boring if u weren't there.

Actually, still on the GC/AGX combo, my D2 is sitting in the garage wating to be installed with my other mods that need to go on before I move. Although you are as low as me, offset of the wheel also play a part in rubbing and I have 10mm spacers all aound so my offset is 30 resulting in me rubbing. I raised up the back, one finger height and the rubbing seemed to be gone.

There's no way to get that file down? I'm not as experienced as others when it comes to vid posting, but maybe someone can walk you thru getting that file down to a managable size.

BBK felt good, I feel alot more confident in braking now. However for some reason, I think my old tires felt better then the Toyo's I have now, Dunno, maybe it could had been my ride height or the STI made me feel slow, ha, oh well. Jeff, I will try to take some pics after I wash my ride, it is pretty dirty right now.

Funny thing is that there was a beat up Ford Ranger that was staying with the STI. The WRX guy said he could not kept up with the Ranger and I didn't try because I was behind the WRX.
