Gas prices excuse to buy parts ?

Well we all know how when the fuel gets expensive..well all the parts we want tend to kinda get "cheaper". Anyone gonna join in and buy up while it's cheap ?

No idea what this thread is about ...

But now is a good time to replace your dead KS or 02 sensors and get some fuel economy back

LOL I guess I should consider myself lucky. I bought my air freshener mod last week, before the prices on them had a chance to inflate.

Oh Frack....its a new horror movie, I KNOW WHAT YOU PAID LAST SUMMER, coming to a Shell station near you.

Anyone work for the oil companies on the .org? We sure could use "employee discount " on gas prices.

I think what the guy means is this:

When gas prices are high, people are less likely to plow more money into their cars... so I guess his theory is people will drop their profits a bit to entice you to spend money on your car again.. Probably harder to sell performance parts that chew gas during petrol shortage .. so little less profit but still getting turn over

I think what he means is that when gas prices go up, it gives you more incentive to replace things like O2, KS, or MAF. The value that those parts give back increases because they save you from buying as much of the expensive gas.

lol, i find this thread really amusing despite the fact that some find this weird and a bit confusing, but c'mon guyz this is reality, and putting some comic relief to a distressing situation is not a bad idea after all. Hope we can still have the capacity for various mods and new parts replacement
