Man, I want to get my car repainted. The chips are horrible. I think red would look cool. Try House of Kolor.

isn't it cheaper to keep it the same color?

Plus, a repaint on the black .... new clearcoat - best paint IMO. Keep it polished / wax and your car will look sweet.

I would stay away from red.

I like black, takes alot of maintenance/upkeep.
I own a sterling mist maxima, I would only pick black, sterling mist or the grey/blue color...not quite sure what its called.

keep it black unless they are going to paint every nook and cranny.

Be carefull of those "really good deal" paint jobs.

They look nice for about a year.

Then it's.....

IMO, I'd do a navy blue and incorporate some silver pearl flake

if my car was black from the factory i'd definitely keep it that color, because color changes are really a huge PITA if you want it to look perfect and whatnot, however since it was **** beige new paint for my car also called for a color change. though its not entirely perfect (engine bay, under some trim that wasn't removed prior to paint...), i like the car much more now, and it gets hella stares from people everywhere because it's such an unusual color for a maxima

for you it really depends on what you want, do you want your car to stand out in a crowd? or just look clean and stock-ish?

lol i know his black on black looks sick, thats why you should keep it black, unless your car needs to be painted then dont paint it, it will not last or not even be as good as the factory dipped paint your car went through. especially a really good deal

Well I got my car repainted metallic black. You can chime in Tom., (Proline Auto Body in Elmwood Park, NJ painted it) The edges of the mouldings were taped off but for the most part the paint job did come out flawless. I paid close a little over $3,500 and it took 2+ months to get it done, but after it was wetsanded, polished, buffed etc it honestly does look like glass.

Black by far is the ONLY color I would get on any car it is absolutely stunning at day, and night because it is SO reflective when painted correctly, and maintained correctly.

The color I got is metallic black in the day time under the sun it does not look pitch black it's more of a charcoal with a lot of flakes, looks real purdy. At night time it looks glossy black.

Black is the way to go if you want something glossy. If its done right (No orange peel, and plenty of clear coat), it can look just amazing when finished.

I think if I were to paint my Maxima another color, I'd go with either blue or a metallic charcoal grey, like the grey lustre on 5th gens.

That goes without saying, but If I were trading it, why would I spend any money painting it....Im not talking about painting because it HAS to be done...its just because of minor road chips

trade??

4 or 5 hundred dollor paint repair could yeild you $1500.00 on a trade. If its' pited bad they will deduct for that, it also make the remainder of the vehicle look poorly maintained...

well since your car is new you dont have to worry about them matching your car, since i doubt the paint has faded. it should be from anywhere from 200 to 300 for a bumper and..yea i guessyou could say about 500, with them detailing the exteriorfor you.
