Never Forget 9/11
I was still in high school back then, only 15 years old. I remember everyone grouped around a TV monitor and I couldn't see. Then it cleared and the very first thing I saw was the plane hitting the world trade center.
I remember in my school, we were watching it all day. I then got to a class that had a substitute teacher and she wouldnt let us watch it and turned off the tv. I then got up turned the tv on and said we will be watching this and sat down. It went really well and she left us alone
i was working in brooklyn and wondering why there was so much smoke coming from NYC. wasnt until later that i heard. sad day for our country.

I guess i shouldn't mention the evidence that proves that the WTC's coming down was a controlled demolition
Anyway yes, it was a sad day in this nation's history, and my thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the lost.

1st period english. I remember we had a a vocab quiz, that i didn't study for, my mom had told me earlier that there was an accident but I was to tired to really care. Not until my teacher took our tests back and said that this wasn't the right time to take a test that I realized how bad it was. Then he just turned on the tv and said "you will remember this for the rest of your lives."

There are two sides to every story. Most people believe in evolution, so should i be banned if i believe in creationism?
I understand this is a sensitive subject, but i think it would behoove everyone to delve into the science of the WTC collapse, that's all. Being informed is never a bad thing. Anyway, i digress. I'm done with this topic. God bless the USA.

I think the worst part was at the time I had no idea just how serious it was.
I was coming home from working the night of the 10th, and actually heard it on Stern. Got home just in time to see the 2nd tower come down. I didn't end up getting to sleep that day until like 1pm when normally I would have been catching z's by 9am.
Not sure if how many have heard of this project that a film maker was working on, but I saw something about it this morning on CNN. It's quite interesting.

My father worked in the buildings, but he is still alive today. He was driving to the airport to pick up his boss, and as he was at the airport thats when every thing happened and he found out as he was driving back to the trade center. Thank God it was a miracle.
I will never forget or forgive those low lifes that did this. I was across the street when it happened. My son-in-law was 15 min. late when the 2nd plane hit. He would not be here today if he wasn't late.
Watched the Discovery channel special "The Flight That Fought Back." I have to say it was extremely emotional and very respectful to those that died and their families. I promptly donated to the memorial fund after the show. I believe it's coming back on at midnight this week and I recommend everyone that hasn't seen it to watch it or record it.
A sad day in American history.....if it my imagination, or has it been a violent five years into the new Century/millenuim?
It really sucks to see the 9/11 headlines right under the "Rebuilding after Katrina" taglines on yahoo.
THe flight that fought back was a good special. Theyre donating all the money from sales to the 9/11 foundation, 100% of the profits.

I remember being in my freshman computer class when it happended. I really didn't know what was going on until class change for 2nd period when kids in the hall were saying that a plane has hit the WTC.
For the rest of the day we watched TV in every class. My dad had a friend that died in the WTC, and my older brother's friend would have possibly died as well if it wasn't for his Corvette needing some service at the Chevy dealer. He was in the subway when it happended. He said the entire train shook.
