About the question about the tints. The tints helps out with unwanted thieves b/c it makes it obvious that your looking at your car. But seriously, install a kill switch. There's been a lot of maxima's in brooklyn getting stolen. Its not that hard. The only thing is being able to put the swith in a location that is not obvious.

i know it isnt, and no he is not the one who keyed my car.. i went outside at work today, but i didnt park the car at the same spot at work. around 1 oclock i went outside and i saw a bunch of teenage chicks chiling and walking around in circles on that block..... i was going to stake out but i made it mad obvious...

You just gotta keep doin your thing. If they're gonna steal your car, then they're gonna steal it. I've had crap (new yamaha r1) stolen before and everything always works out. Make sure you've got good insurance and all that and that's pretty much all you can do.

 

yea they stole my boys R6 right on campus in front his class room, bike only had 5k miles on it, and about 2k dollars worth of mods..

 

Get clifford blackjax anyways, it's a nice piece of security. If a certain code isn't entered within a minute or so the car turns off with the horn blaring and the lights blinking. Saw a thread where they bypassed the guys autolok and his fuel cut. The guy found his car a block away abandoned with the doors open and nothing stolen.

Keep in mind tints make it easier to break into your car. With regular class it will be loud since all the glass goes everywhere. With tints the glass stays stuck together because of the tint and isn't as loud.

 

my suggestion..go west coast on them...park in the same spot...get a bunch of your friends who arent in class to just chill with you somewhere where you would be unnoticeable and wait for anybody that even looks at your car wrong...just run up and beat them down...honestly dude thats sad that someone would even leave that note....a baseball bat to the head will ensure they will never think about stealing your car..let alone even think again.

 

Im new here just browsing threads , this was interesting ....... but yeah a " true " thief would never leave a note " thats like walking into a store and telling the clerk oh btw im gonna walk up steal 3 bottles of beer and walk out. My friend had a girl writeing notes to him and leaving them on his windsheild. So one day he was pissed off so he setup a camera to watch to see who is putting the notes on his car. He found out it was his girlfriend...lol she wanted to see what his reaction was.lol

He has an SUV and tints 20% in front and limos all around. He put the camera inside his car.

Since when does glock make a .22? If you shoot someone with a .22 or .25 pistol, it'll really hurt and make them really mad.

It's too bad that due to certain laws in this country, we can't have more effective security systems. In Brazil, there's beemers that will electric shock theives. There's also a system that swings out a lead pipe from the undercarraige to break the perp's legs.

I know a guy that was in my college class, some people kept breaking in this truck to steal his radio and stuff. his doors would not lock. so he put razor blades under his handle. the next night he went outside they tried to open the doors and their hands were cut bad by the trail of blood. do that and see if he gets away. but just incase he is just running is mouth, make sure you remember you put the razor blades there so u don't cut your self.

Do what I do.....get a aftermarket alarm system with some loud Hella air horns. I've even had my installer put air horns under the seats, make their ears bleed!!!
