Ceramic Coating Stillen Y
Greetings,
MikeO has ceramic coated his new Stillen Y to avoid corrosion due water and salt during the northen winters.
The ceramic coating process makes the pipe a bit sturdier and therefore may be a bit quieter.
The question is, has anyone else done this? If so what was the result (are you happy)?.
I am concern about the flex portion. If the ceramic is applied to all surfaces of the pipe (including the flex), it will then be not so flexible and will also cause the ceramic coating to flake off.
This could be a problem. I know that when ceramic coating a part, it is done inside and outside (I think it is submerged into the solution). This may make the exaust smoother and have better flow.
If anyone has done this (besides MikeO) how much did you pay?
Cheers,
