Good product to clean glass??

I have a 97-99 foglight that has some residue and it makes it look blurry. I tried metal polish hoping it would clear it up but failed. Anyone know what product to use to clean these?

Simple: 50% ammonia, 50% water. Works better than any glass cleaner you can buy. I've also heard people buff with old newspaper, but I find it unnecessary...

i use that 'invisible glass' stuff with a microfiber towel, and let me tell you, i have never seen anything like this stuff...i've used Eagle 20/20, ammonia and water like mentioned above, windex, etc. and this is by FAR the greatest....even if you were to leave a ton of streaks, it completely disappears once it drys....it also is pretty good with stuff like bugs. I had a TON of bugs on my windshield the other day (love bug season ) and after i dried my car i noticed there were still quite a few on there that i didn't see....so i just got that stuff, and didn't really have to rub hard, but they all came off....great product if you ask me..

Costco sells this stuff, I can't remember what it's called but it is in a blue aerosol can with clouds on it, it foams when you spray it and works great.

invisible glass? who makes that?

and no offense, the shiet that's on this fog light is really tough. if metal polish couldn't get rid of it, are you almost positive that invisible glass will do the work?

Stoner Invisible Glass. It won't work on your lens. Use Frank's method. Increase concentration if stubborn.

The fog light is glass and is probably all pitted. You need to polish the glass with glass polish to make it nice and clear again. JCWhitney has a glass polishing kit that might help you out. Use your resources, search the WEB.

What's the enclosure made of? Glass or plastic?

On the Invisible Glass a company named Stoner's makes it. AMAZING product. Get it, do each surface twice. When they say "invisible" THEY MEAN IT!!!
