wonder if anyone has ran a wire from their map light / sunroof console to power their radar detector? am thinking of putting my radar detector just under my rearview mirror but am trying to avoid the ugly wire dangling from the detector to the cigarette lighter look...

any help is greatly appreciated...!

I can't think of any reason why that wouldn't work, the map light is 12V so it should work.
