I have read here that MSD part # 8956 will NOT work with the Max out of the box. What do I need to tell MSD to have them fix it for my use. Does it have to be adjusted to work with 1 coil?
Also, beside the RPM pills, is there a relay or something that needs to be purchased also to make the item fully functional.
I did ask MSD but they stopped responding to emails for some reason.

MSD told me the unit needs to be modify for 1 cylinder application. Call MSD and they will give you more info.

You might able to get the unit to work right out of the box if you tap the tach wire off the ECU. This is untested, but Synki is giving it shot.

No relay needed.

Like Tony saud above, you will need to have it modified for 1 cyc app.

I am planning to order my pills in teh next few days and i will finally test out if it works or not.
