uh, you missed the reflection in the puddle.

IMO, I think that color looks nice on that max! maybe the rims would have to change, but I think it works. It reminds me a lot of the 6th gen leather interior what is it... burnt sienna? i can't remember and the nissan site isn't loading. but it's the bright brown/orange leather. reminds me of Italian leather. I think it works on a newer, (5th-6th gen) max.

i also missed the inside of the sunroof and under the hood, and i know i missed them. it doesn't affect the idea he'll get of what that color looks like on his car, so why should i bother?

it's hard to photoshop metallic colors like that. i could probably get the color a LITTLE bit closer if you gave me a picture of the car, but it'll never have the full metallic effect of the liquid copper. well, it's possible, but it would take a long time and a lot of extra steps.

I don't know bro, but I like how your car looks already. the silver color matches everything. Keep it how it is.

I'll say stay with the same color you already have, but once agian others may be nice to. I'm gonna have to see the way they're going to look, otherwise it kinda hard to tell. I don't realy like the copper one, but others might me nice.

just because I only spend when I have to (usually), i don't know if I would just drop $2000 on a paint job 'cuz I want to'. I would wait until mine was looking a litle beyond it's prime and that way I would be able to justify new paint. that's just me. So I would say stay as you are. looks great, IMO.

But, money aside, I really love that liquid copper, but can't picture how it would look with a black base coat. I suppose that would look even better, though. Almost pearlescent, maybe?

you can easily get the metallic colors in photoshop by adjusting the highlights:

image -> adjustment -> color balance -> highlights

that's not really metallic, it's just shiny :-)

to get it right in this picture i probably would have had to make separate gradients for the hood, roof, and body, then adjust the highlights, and maybe even add a metal flake pattern. your way definitely works sometimes, but i don't think it would have helped much here.
