The 07 Maxima looks lame..Teana in Japan is the Maxima here :P I have pics of some when I was there...Why does Nissan insist on making the Maxima uglier n uglier?

There is no way Nissan is going to bring the Teana here since it is the Maxima, so yeah that is pretty much is the 07 Maxima...Unless Nissan decides to be dumber

That car is really fugly. The maxima is pulling away from the younger crowd. it was designed to do that but now young people will hate it.

Exterior looks like VW/Audi/Ford 500. Inside is pretty hot though....

I've pretty much given up on the Maxima name after the 5.5 gen. The 6th gen looks okay I guess in certain angles.

I just consider my car a classic in a once proud line of sports sedans.

I like it. Its a great change since the Altima is now considered the "sporty" sedan. Nissan needs to redo its flagship model by adding in more luxury. I don't mind the style at all, interior looks very nice.

Nissan seems like they want to emulate the infiniti M- or Q-series front end, Maybach rear tail lights and bmw-esque trunk with the design.

For me I defenately don't like it. I agree with some guys that the Maxima designs got ugly for some reason, I don't know maybe they ran out of ideas. Well I was going to go for Automotive Engineering for Nissan, but I did't go this year even if I got skills to do so.

Here's a shot from when I was in Japan..At night they played movies on a giant screen and the sound came from the speakers that were in the trunks..This is in Yokohama

Those are all Teanas and this was a publicity thing done by Nissan..It was so lame, the movie was some 1940 drama thing..It was so boring I almost fell asleep just walking by...

The 07 Maxima is supposed to be enhanced right? Yeah I think the folks at Nissan are using the wrong drug because this thing is a pos..They could have kept the 5.5 body, but just add a nice turbo and awd, and toss the Nissan Fuga (M45) wheels on it...I was going to buy a set, but it was going to cost me 2500 just for the rims..That's in American dollars :P

Btw that interior is horrific..It looks like someone went to a rumage or a garage sale, bought a bunch of stuff and decide it was fun to decorate their interior with crap..

what a boat. i might be able to get used to the interior, but the exterior... barf. the whole thing just seems so sterile. but i guess these days the market demands large boring cars. all i can say is, i hope my max lasts a long time because i'm going to have a hard time finding something newer that fits the bill.

I love my Car...

Well I like my Aussie Maxima (Teana) so Na..... and i like it's interior because it is different ..& mine now goes like the clappers on account of the mods done. Toyota must like it too, because your US Avalon looks like a replica of my car down to stealing the keyless ingition feature and general internal and external look..

It's about time Nissan starts producing bigger Maximas. Going back 10 years & looking at the Altima VS the Maxima you could see a huge difference in size. Today, i'd probably pick the Altima over the Max. Altima is now going to be the 4DSC and Maximas are going up a bit in class. (hitting the elder community)

Na, Maximas and Teana's are FWD you gotta get a Fuga or M35 which is very much the same body with AWD or RWD ..

I don't think Nissan is dropping the Maxima any time soon, since 7th gen is in the works. Nissan also is looking to go bigger, full-size sedan; don't know how soon.

And black67, I was wondering when you'd chime in w/ your Maxi-teanna

the wheels look so tiny. sucha huge looking bulky car, and theres no edge anymore, the 4th gen had a kinda muscular image the 5ths a sleek and smooth, the 6th-? just have no style anymore, conformists!

True dat. Because you know even the next gen Altima is probably going to overlap the current Max in size. Heck, even the Mini Cooper is growing in size.
