Anyone know how to get JDM wheels?

Bortex MII
I'm interested in the Enkei Bortex MII, 18x8 for my 99 Maxima. They're available here in the US, but in a 35mm offset, which will position the 235/40's out a little too much up front (I currently have 45mm offset).
They weigh in at under 18lbs ea. I also like the style and think the color would go well with the silver body.
Enjoy....

Re: Bortex MII
35mm probably will work for 18X8. 45mm?? What rim width? You wouldn't know until you bolt it up. I have 18X8.5 with 40mm with 235/40. 5mm difference.

BTW, I like that fancy emissions plumbing on your intake manifold!

I still think you are better off with the rims sticking out more. You will have more room when you decide to get a big brake upgrade. The outer lip of 18X8 with 35mm is probably in the same position as my 18X8.5 with 40mm.

I see your point, although the tire position is mostly what I'm concerned with.
So you are at 40mm, which means that your tire's tread edge is out 5mm more than an 8" 45mm offset wheel. However, your rim is .5" wider (12.7mm) which would be about 6mm per side, so the rim edge would end up in roughly the same place.
I think I'd still rather have the higher offset wheels, though. The only big brake upgrade I'm gonna get is when I bite the bullet and buy that 540i.
-Thanks
