the phantom 2, works or what?
I have a problem with speeding, and also have a problem with getting caught and paying fines.
So i've read about this radar detector/scrambler combo called the phantom II (2). they say it makes your car invisible, and works as a radar detector. (why bother with the radar if the car is invisible??) anyway, anyone have it? anyone know if it works well? also, they say they'll pay my tickets for the first year if i get a fine... whats the fine line print on that?
if i dont go with that little device, im thinking about the passport 8500,, does that sound good?

I dont know about the phanton..
the fine print is, they only pay for your tickets that are under I think 10 or maybe 15mph over the limit.
As for passport 8500, they are very good - I was looking at buying 1 today, looks like in the tests, the definate two best are 1. passport 8500 2. bel (beltronics) 980
I am going to get a 8500 .

Heres a review for "radar jammers"-->
personally I'd just go with a radar detector like the Escort or something, since they mention that majority of these $300+ "blocker/scramblers" on the market don't even work-->

I have heard those things dont work at all. Go with the Passport 8500. Its ranked #1 by www.radartest.com
