Can someone post pictures of the underbodies of a 5th / 6th gen? I'm curious to see some of the obvious differences. I've searched for this and did not find any picture thread related to it. I remember seeing a pic of an Altima vertically in the air at a car show, but can't seem to find it now. Also, do any 5th gen owners notice rust developing yet underneath? In my area we get a lot of wet weather conditions and I was curious about this over the long term.

 

main difference, 5th gen rear beam 6th gen indi rear. 5th gen 1muff 6th gen 2muff. sorry i dont have any pics, but i thought id add soemthing, even if it was minute

 

The chassis design on the 6th gen is completely different from the 5 gen. rear suspension is totally different type. front suspension is similar, but the chassis an subframe are completely different design.
