from the FAQ...

"The CAI is an intake system where cooler air is brought in from outside of the engine bay, unlike the other systems. The filter for the CAI sits inside the driver side wheel well. Though it appears that water can be a problem, till this day no CAI owners has reported problems while using it. You can order the CAI either through Cattman Performance or through Place Racing directly."

the cone filter just attaches to your MAF via an adapter and sits in the engine bay....

The CAI requires you to saw a hole out of your front driverside fender, from the inside of the engine compartment. It takes air from an area deep in the fender to bring in colder air. The Cone air filters or POP Chargers use a cone filter place in the engine compartment and is attached directly to the MAF sensor tubing. It has a velocity stack to direct the air through.

Some Cone air filter comes with its own pipe (Ractive) and the filter. how much to have a shop to do that installation?
is it very hard work? or just replacing the pipe and filter?

a shop would probably charge you 30 - 50 bucks...im not sure since i did my CAI install myself...the work is pretty easy...out with the old and in with the new...

are you referring the northeast meet? if so it's on sunday not tomorrow...it's at liberty state park in jersey city, nj. check the northeast forums for all the information and directions...
