not back but igot 126k out of my stock and it didn't even start slipping. The clutch outlived the transmission.

Mine was at 146k on the stock clutch.

I doubt my ACT will hold up even 1/2 that long though

Yeah, I took the stock clutch out at 105k/5yrs, and it had 2mm left. My bro went 150k/6yrs on his stocker. Maybe I should go with stock disc instead of ACT?

ya i was wondering. can you replace the disc w/ one from a 5th gen, but keep the ACT pressure plate? and what do you have your tranny out for?

aznsap, you'll hafta search for info on the 4th/5th gen hybrid thing. I dunno anything about that.

No reason, I got bored and took out the tranny. While it's out, I'm replacing seals, checking shims and bearings. I guess some people call it "rebuilding" a tranny. I was gonna throw in a Vitek or Phantom, but didn't have the funds. Oh well, another time.

Next time it's out I'll probably get a lightened Flywheel. I love my bro's 2k fly, makes for easier downshifting (I'm old school, I dbl clutch and engine brake.) His Quaife kicks butt too, like learning how to take turns again.
