just wondering about the future of the maxima, with the new v6 altimas comming out and the I30 going to I35, where would the maxima fit in the nissan line up, and what changes will they make. i just want to see if any one knows anything.

I would say use the SEARCH feature before you get flamed but I realize that for the most part it sucks.
Between here and probably Fresh Alloy it has been discussed to some extent.
The next Maxima will consist of a 3.5L engine most likely mated w/ an optional 6-speed putting about 260 HP.
The Maxima drivetrain has alway been shared with the I30 so any changes to the basics of the Infiniti will be reflected in the Nissan version and vice-versa.
