What would a dragging parking brake feel like?

A better question would be, what would it smell like? If its dragging you will smell it. Especially when you stop and get near the rear wheels.

I had an old Charger years ago and the thing had so much torque that early one morning I got in and drove it 10 miles down the highway to work with the handbrake on. Didn't even feel it till I got out and noticed smoke pouring out the rear wheels. Stunk real bad. Good 'ol drums.

 

You will smell and and you can also feel the wheel to see if its extra hot.
