They're practically giving away Castrol GTX

Pep Boys sells it for $1.29 qt. and you get a $10 BP gas card when you buy a case. What a no-brainer.....excellent oil for all gen Maximas. Nothing better is needed!

really? i recently bought a case when everyone got $10 pepboys card for a new store. then they had a big rebate, so you we're paid to get it.

of course I forgot to send the rebate 1 day too late.

I have a bunch of BP gift cards from their credit card and the last game by BP. Looks like I'll get $10 more. Man, I'll never be able to switch to Mobil1. 18k now and about 3 gallons of GTX in the garage. Can't beat free GTX though.

Got a case today since I was out of 5W30 for winter (they got new stock a little while ago since they had like 50 cases of 5W30 and another 50 for 10W30 - didn't have any when I went 2 weeks ago)

It was $1.89/qt ($1.29 after rebate) - the BP gas card is only $5 for this one ($10 is for synthetic) which still isn't bad

Is it any good? I'm kinda partial to Mobil 1 having used it all my cars in the past.

Yo, check this one out--the BP card is only $5, and if you look at the rebate form, even though they advertised $1.29 after rebate, the rebate form for Oct. and Nov. SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDES purchases from 11/13 through 11/19, exactly when the sale took place. I asked the Pep Girl wassssup, and they said the corp office made a mistake. Lots of good that'll do when you mail it in and don't get the $7.20 back! This kinda stuff is why Dateline and 20/20 exist! But Fox News gets the job done at the local level. Back to Mobil 1 for me! just kidding that would be a waste

Good eye, I see what you mean but the form they gave me, they just changed the 12 to 19 with a marker so probably a typo on the rebate form (also http://www.web-rebates.com/pepboys shows up to 19 on the webpage but 12 on the form) - will see what they say or I'll just do a return and rebuy

Well, when I asked they were reading a company memo saying that the rebate was extended--so if you're in Chicago and I'm in Philly, and they said the same thing, we should be fine. Now if only my office fantasy football team were fine.......
