Is there a reason you want NEW?

If you are replacing a 5-speed, the new 4th gen unit will likely encounter the same problems you are trying to fix anyway. Try go for a lightly used 5th gen 5-speed.

Thats what im going to buy, but i want new, i dont want to deal with any problems that might happen with one i dont know the history of. i have right now a 5th gen 5 speed with the VLSD but there is a crack in the housing. Im sure i could swap the internals from the 5th gen i have into the case of my old 4th gen, but who know what caused the crack in the housing. I dont want to find out later down the road either.

I was looking at them, they have the best prices around, the only other place that i found that had the same exact prices was out of WA. I called them and its going to be $1665.61 without tax and shipping. Can I order from Nissan USA or is that on a dealship bases?
