can i get some help from someone that works at nissan? i just need to know if the holes on a vq35de header will mate up with vq30de motor. i was hopping someone could overlap the two and see if it will fit or not. thank you.

 

the hotshot and cattman headers fit both motors. the only difference is the egr bung.

 

so if i were to take a header meant for a say a 350z or g35, would the holes line up to mount it? reason is i want to use vq35de headers meant for a 350z for my turbo manifold plumbing. that way exhaust exits towards the driver side of the car, instead of going down then up again.

 

The exhaust head studs will line up fine, but the manifold will probably hit the motor mount and not clear all of the stuff around there.

 

guess im gonna have to stick with the original plan and get it custom.
