Slightly Used Pressure Plate Usability

I recently brought a OEM 5th Gen PP. It was advertised as new but when it came in, it look used. IE, there are scratches, marks and there are bolt marks on the bolt holes. Is it supposed to look like that? The seller is willing to do whatever I want so everything is cool there but I wanted to know if I should just keep this pressure plate or just get a brand new one?

look at the wear surface on it. is it worn? hotspots? grooves? etc?

it may have just been bolted up and never used...

Thats what I think, might be a factory take off from the owner that replaced it with aftermarket.

the surface does not look used. there is no noticeable markes from the throw out bearing. From the pic I would say you have nothing to be worried about

yup.. as they said..
it was mounted to something, but there are no marks from the clutch disc and there are no marks from a TO bearing. clutch is basically new.
