I don't think all that many 3rd gen owners buy stuff from CE, so the calendar probably caters more to their actual customers -- 4th, 5th and 6th gen owners.

It was nice to have any kind of recognition, being as our cars are almost like dinosaurs now in the import world.

BTW, Brooke, everyone appreciates your efforts and I want to tell you that you shouldn't be stressed out about what happens. Don't let things you can't control overwhelm you.

You and Marc did a super job on your part of the putting together the calendar. I know it sucks for you guys to see nothing yet of your hard work, and I know it sucks for CE to basically have a calendar that is not going to sell that well because it is almost March. However, we can all still be proud of this community for coming together and making something like this happen at all. You are a HUGE part of that. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more timely results from the printer in the future. Hopefully, this years printer will no longer be used, if it is indeed their fault.

chris

I remember you saying a while back you were going to buy a wagon and I was wondering if you did! That would be a fun project. I'm sure you're dying to drive that to Maxus (lol!)

There was an issue with the printer but it started with me excepting late submissions and lots of people sent me LOW res pics so I had to wait for high res pictures so I was late getting the pictures to Marc. Marc had his design time and we had to make a few changes put us back little more. Marc finished and then the printer had issues so I am working a way to please everyone and NO Gabriel nobody is going to have to dress up in little skirts Ha ha I will POST tonight my conclusion and idea to fix it all.

Ok bear with me here is the deal and conclusion with the calendars and here is the reasoning behind it from me.

1. The calendar is now going to be a 2007 Maxima Calendar. I am so sorry to you guys for this drastic change but my good reasoning will follow.

2. ALL maxima's in the calendar and their owners (ha ha little humor) will still be receiving their FREE copies when we start selling them in September '06.

3. They will be ready to BE SHIPPED out in September to your door steps.

4. Here is the sweeeet part for the hassle, time and irritation this may have caused anyone here:

When they are sold in Sept as 2007 calendars - just mention you are an ORG member when you call and your calendar is FREE, yes there is a shipping charge but NO it's not $10 ha ha ----- it's $5.00 for the shipping priority envelope/shipping. So basically $5.00 gets an ORG member the 2007 calendar next year.

Here is the reasoning:

1. 06-07 because...it is NOT fair to those who's months have passed and therefore I can't sit back and be associated with a calendar thats selling 3 months late, partially my fault. Its a better deal for everyone- gives CE time, gives the maximas the credit they deserve and exposure time they were PROMISED by me.

2. This is sticking to our original deal that ya'll get free calendars for participating and I will assure you get the correct amounts and before '07 or you have my permission to hunt me down and Tawnya Harding my a**....

3. The calendars will be printed soon so September gives plenty of time to get them a nice clear space on your wall.

4. So what's in it for the ORGers that had to watch this struggle? Thats why we came up with the FREE calendars to ORG memebers and its not like we're giving you free 2006 calendars- they'll be fresh and up to date '07. I know there is $5.00 shipping but the cost of the envelopes & shipping is $4.8??? something to my knowledge so we rounded it off.

AGAIN I profusely apologize on my behalf, CE's behalf and anyone else involved that this did not hit shelves and walls for 2006. I hope this all seems reasonable and you understant my decision is as well rounded as I could come up with to cater to everyone in making it up to them. I hope it makes those who's months have passed hope, and those who wanted a calendar but NOT in the middle of the year a chance to start fresh and the ORG members who beared it all and supported us the chance at paying only shipping to receive a new 07 calendar was an idea to give thanks to those. I hope I covered everyone! My apologies truly to those who were anxious whom now aquired more anxiety - so so sorry, and PLEASE tell me if there is ANYTHING else I can do. I thought this all over and over and this seemed the most logical for CE, and the fairness to the max community. Being in charge of this whole project is an honor and I take it very serious so I had to take a stand to let ya'll know I was still here and very aware of the situation. So, that's how its going to be now .... thank you guys and thanks for taking time to read this very very long conclusion and reasoning. (Please don t hold me liable for speelling or gramikal errers this is too long too proof read and my nails need to be done ha ha)

ahhhhh, all this time and this happens, no calendar for 06. huh....i think since we all seen this 'calendar', we should change it out, i mean i know it takes 5 months to make,(j/k) but ce should really change it up and start over, thats the only way to go imo. but yea, its all good. i mean some of these maximas change over night, why have a yr/half old pics on a new calendar?
oh and maxima girl, you did your part and thats all that matters.

It a good way to remember those maximas.
Just think if Sadler and Arrafio had been in one, that would have been a nice calender.
Enomik no longer has his car in this current CE calendar.

Its a good idea. I know myself and other members have told family and friends that they were going to be in a calander. They just have to wait a little longer.

My homie chernmax gave me a redlinemax calander and I owe him one.
