Yes they will work, the ride will be horrable. You should upgrade your struts so the car rides and handles correctly with sport springs. Nissan stock struts don't last very long on lower sport spring setups.
From what I understand, if you replace with aftermarket springs, and keep stock shocks/struts, if you hit bumps, the spring will recover quickly, but the shock will recover slower since it's still stock. Someone correct me if I'm wrong..
SO if i get like progress springs.....can i use any type of after market struts? and one more thing, like can i use the lowering springs on my stock struts for a little while until i buy the strust or should i just get all of em in one shot?
you can use them forever if you wanted to; they won't hurt anything. it just will be a terrible ride, especially after they blow out. so i guess it's up to you and what would be more convienent. to put spring on now and then do the install all over again later, or wait and do it all at once.
