I bought a rivet gun and figured out how to use it. Now, how do I remove the rivets when I mess up?

You have to drill. Basically, get a drill bit just slightly bigger than the rivet. Drill through, and the rivet will separate. When I was prototyping my dash kit, we popped dozens of rivets into my car and everytime we had to switch pieces, we had to drill out rivets.

Thanks Jeff. That's what I thought. I'm helping a friend install his body kit. His previous kit was stolen right off the street in Washington DC. This time instead of screws. We are going to use rivets. It will be harder for someone to jack it now
