This guy in a 95 Z28 with 4 girls in the car pulls up next to me and starts revving. I decide not to race him off the line (torque) so we get rolling to about 50 and punch it and we are dead even to 80, then we let off. He was shocked (so was I). We do that again and the same thing happens. I get cocky and decide to run him off the line (mistake). We launch at the same time, he barely pulls on me in first, then he gains 1 car on me pretty fast in second, so I let off. I should have just quit before I got beat. I was suprised though that I kept up with a car with 275 hp. If he didn't have 4 girls in the car he probably would have beat me bad. I still embarrased him a little though, so it was cool.

 

thats so sweet when a family sedan can keep up with a z28 from 50 or so. One of my friends has one and it isnt that impressive(maybe it is not taken care of) Sweet race though

Last night i was bringing my woman back from the airport and i finally get in my city.. its 2 am and i see a red 3rd Gen Z28 .. so the guy is in the wrong lane and i see him inching forward like he wants to speed up and get in front of me.. so i time the light and as soon as i see the other light turn red, i count 1 then 2 and then i took off.. i had about 1 car on him when he started.. then he tried to catch me.. but i put another car on him and he couldn't pull anymore.. at this time my woman starts the BS.. so i start slowing down.. I get to the next light and he says.. what year is this.. and i answer "97" he then asks me if i want to race for money.. my woman quickly jumps up.. no.. and i said.. no.. and he just says.. hmm.. that thing has some *****.. damn if only i was spraying that would be some *****...
