If I get a torque converter and an aftermarket suspension kit. If it does, will it just void the warranty for the transmission and suspension, or will it void the whole car warranty. Any information will be appreciated, thanks guys.

The warranty is only void if the dealer can prove that the aftermarket part directly contributed to the problem in question. This is federal law, don't let the dealer tell you otherwise.

One example of BS I remember...Someone went to get the brake rotor TSB on their 5th gen and the dealer tried to tell them that by painting their calipers, they warped the rotors, therefore the warranty and TSB were void. I dont think so.

mzmtg is right. So if you get a new TC and suspension, any problems pertaining to those will not be covered.

The answer is . . .

it all depends on the relationship you have with your dealer. Whether or not a mod results in voiding your warranty is often a subjective issue. If you've got a dealer who's willing to turn a blind eye to a mod or go to bat for you with Nissan, practically any mod is OK short of forced induction. If not, practically any mod is grounds for voiding your warranty. And while your dealer may be dead wrong for voiding your warranty, do you really have the time, resources and inclination to fight them?

I cannot stress this enough. Relationships are EVERYTHING. If you don't have a good relationship with your Service Writer, develop one. Take him/her to lunch periodically. When you're attempting to resolve a service issue, show your Service Writer the respect you'd like them to show you. Listen more and talk less. And learn to be patient. There are some things in life that simply can't be solved other than through patience and respectful determination.

Remember, it's easier to attract flies with honey than with vinegar.

Relationships are everything. If they don't care for you, they'll try to blame your mods for everything and fix nothing. Good luck.

Thanks guys, I guess I have to start visiting and making some new friends at my local Nissan dealer, since I moved from another state.
