Where do I sign? I would be good for a larger scale (if I had a choice) 5/5.5th Gen more than one piece for sure...

I'd buy a 5th gen. I'd prefer a clean model, no graphics, no bling wheels, no big wings, etc. I'd gladly pay $60 for one.

I would prefer a clean model too, without blings, stickers, etc. as close to OEM as possible...

I will take one if they come in Grey Luster, lowered on D2's, HotShot Headers, Cattman B-Pipe (stock 02 Muffler though), Motostorm UDP with Gates belts, CE blue FSTB, Berk Intake, Cad plated slotted rotors with hawk pads and SS lines, clear side markers, AE headlights, Gunmetal 2000 17' SE rims and dont forget the o2 sim with tied up secondary o2 sensors.

It will also need a black leather interior, Autoclimate control, a Bose radio and if it is not to much trouble just throw some random papers in the back seat.

Thats about it... If any other details come to mind I will let you know.

Edit: almost forgot the Bug/ rock deflector on the hood and the CE Highflow Cat.

I'd buy a black one with some after market 18s (not chromed out tho) clears up front and redclears in the back

Edit: I just saw the website and realized this was no joke or half *** offer. I say you make one of the 3-4-5-6 gens in a couple of colors with a box that includes different body kits, rims and accessories... Im tellin you, you'd sell thousands here and many more in stores... Maximas are very accesible cars, many own them and would love this, count me in. Id pay prob up to 50-60 for a very high quality piece like you see in Sharper Image etc... I have 15 as it is and this would def complete the collection

I'll take at least one for 4th and 5th gens. As said before "stock-like" appearance. I would appreciate it to not have the stock 4x4 wheel gap.

If the cars are good quality, we can take the springs out of the cars and cut them down to give them a drop... I did it on my previous die casts.

5th gen, black would be a nice color, with the gap and a AE or stillen kit, everything else stock would be fine to keep it universal.

I will buy a few of each most likely. I am going with the whole not riced out. Maybe you can even work with some manufacturing companies and make parts for it, lips, rims, ect... That would be grand! I am game.

I'm sure most will agree that even though I want my 95 maxima it would be too much work to do all details form the 4th gens, or any for that matter. and the SE-L is a very desireble version of the 4th gens...

yeah I'm Sure you are going for the stock looking ones... no sensce in making it everyones taste work... (everyone used to have a stock maxima when they first bought it.)
i would def grab a mohagany pearl (CP2) se-l. This way I will always have her even when she is gone.

I will buy but not JADA.

their quality and idea of how cars look are sad. overtuned, out of proportion sticker crazies complete with 400" Spinners Rimz to booth.

AutoART quality or none for me. though that is too much. how about maisto quality? or revell?

JADA cannot make anything look real, hence the name jadaTOYS.

then again, surprise me. if it's good stuff i'll fork over autoart retail for one at 80$. however i doubt it. it will look like everything else they make. square box with 40" wheels.

X-Vert,

In reply to the above message, I say this...gauging interest means just that..gauging interest. I mentioned in my original message that this would not happen immediately. I have not replied to any of the posts until now because I have been busy with other responsibilities. To all those of you who responded to my post, thank you, I appreciate your feedback (good, bad or indifferent); this was the reason for the original post; to hear what all of you had to say. I have been checking this post frequently and every day I have seen the view count go up, therefore signifying an interest in the post and in the concept.

In response to the skeptics -- I submitted an online question to Jada Toys expressing my question about the possibility of a Maxima diescast in their lineup. As I mentioned in the question to them, there is high brand loyalty by owners to the Maxima nameplate, therefore, there are many more potential buyers of their product that they have neglected. Any business worth its weight in product, would most certainly reply, lest risk losing potential customers. Below I have posted a copy of the reply I received from them:

Thank you for contacting Jada Toys, Inc. We will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.

Sincerely,
Jada Toys, Inc.

And if in the end, the result is that a Maxima casting of any generation is not produced, at least we can say we tried.

No offense intended to anyone with this reply, just posting my $.02

Sincerely,
2000MaxGLE

I feel that I just need to comment on your response. I find it somewhat interesting that the response you got (or rather channels you used) is a generic statement you would tipically get from an automated e-mail response system. Considering that your original statement is "My brother is the Vice-President of Product Development at JadaToys" I was expecting at least a response that would reflect that you indeed have some connections to make this happen.

Just posting my $.02

LOL

igzy,

I can appreciate your response. I did use the normal channel of a standard question to them. The statement of my relationship to the VP is legitimate, but as I mentioned I wanted to identify how many people were actually interested in the idea. With all the responses received, I will provide them to my brother as proof that they should consider the idea of creating such a casting. Hence, all the responses received will be provided to them as a matter of first hand customer feedback. By the end of the week, I will provide all the posted replies to my brother and leave the rest to them; I am acting as the conduit between all of you guys and the team at Jada. Believe me, I would like to see this too.

I love Jada Toys...I've got close to 50 of them! I'm a grown @$# man with toys. I tell my wife that I'm saving them for our boys(when we eventually have children!).

I'd buy all the generation Maximas if Jada Toys produced them! That would be cool if the castings could be made from .ORG members vehicles!

Ill buy 1:18 scale of a 4th and 5th gen...With a subtle body kit (I.E. Stillen) and wheels, lowered of course. Keep it simple with VERY minimal if no graphics at all...
