I still say go for it, but you might want to look at places to sell them first: here, redlinemax.com, custommaxima, Nissan dealerships, ect.

I think we should start looking into other companies that might consider this. Show them how bad we want this...
Maistro, Bburago (very nice quality), and any other large company you guys might suggest.
I bet they can easilly sell 10,000 within a month. Having redline, CE, and the org buying them... they would make a load off this.
It's better to start off with a 4th gen or a 5.5 gen due to the higher demands, then go from there.

Thanks for your support on this topic!! A fellow .org member, JdoubleOe703 from Los Angeles, has called and spoken to my brother as well in order to garner support for this potential project. As I have said in my previous posts, I would like to see this come to fruition as well.
My vote is for a black 2000 GLE! (but I guess I am biased)

did a little research, to make a maxima in a diecast 1: 24 model , the molding/tooling cost will be $10,000. Then there's an additional cost of the model itself. So It shows you how many they would need to sell just to break even...

I wouldn't buy a 1:24 diecast... 1:18 only.
Lets say it cost them $15K to build the moldings...
we have about 250-300 ppl here interested, just with that amount of people, we would be able to pay for the models which would run us about $50 each, which is what im expecting to pay for a quality model.
