During the day when you see a Maxima on the road do you guys flash them? I got two in the last week, one from a 4th Gen and a 5th Gen today. My car is bone stock. I find it pretty cool that we acoknowledge each other like that. I won't do it at night because that would probably just blind them.

 

I get the occasional wave, but never get flashed. Both times it's been from fellow modded max's, though, and they weren't from my area.

 

I heard there is this gang initiation and if you flash them they chase you down and murderize you.

 

LOLOL they drive without lights on in the middle of the night.

There was a big discussion a while back about how Jeep's have their wave, and some Maxima.org members wanted to get that going for us. In summary, they decided it would be hard to do since the majority of Maxima drivers think of them nothing more than the 4dr family sedan that they bought.

 

Not to mention it being read the wrong way by the other person

 

I do any one of these but I keep crashing because both hands are off the wheel.

 

Don't you know how to drive with your knee on the wheel, geez.

 

only time i get flashed is when i have a fist full of beads.

 

i flash any modded max that goes by me and i have been flashed lotts of times as well...lotta modded maxs around here tho

 

I've seen only one "modded" max with clear bumper lights and a bra on the road...I did see one parked at a body shop that was all stock but had a stillen kit.

 

I only wave if it's modded

 

here in va, ive seen a white modded 4th gen with clear corners, red/clear tails, lowered, tint, stock 96 gle front rims and aftermarket rears. I also saw a modded 5th gen, gray, dark tint, and lowered. also ive seen a beige 92, thats supercharged, dark tint, lowered, muffler, unpainted front stillen kit only, bmw 36 headlights, orange front side lights, maxima sticker and shift_boost sticker on the rear quarter panel window and stock 97 se rims. i would wave but they might mistake it for something else...lol.

 

How do you know it's supercharged? Pics?

I once flashed a modded maxima that was parked......

I used to appreciate people flashing me when there was a cop down the street, but it seems like nobody does it anymore...

Some gangs were doing that in Newark, NJ. I flash no one, for that very reason.

if i see a max with mods, ill flash them.. all the other max'x around me are old lady drivers

 

i usally flash maximas, but once i flashed a old lady in a max and she started screaming at me.......

 

I saw a hook-uped max at a triffic light once, but it was kinda....should I say something first or wait til he does.....It was ackward to say the least

There isn't anyone for me to "flash"

There isn't another modded Max (other than rims and/or stereo) within 75 miles of me that I have seen. Mostly just people with plain-jane stock Maximas.

I even tried to tell a local guy with a 3rd gen to check out maxima.org just to help him fix his window regulator. I have never him post and he still has clear tape holding up his rear window
