At first I was not sure but now I like them a lot and it makes my car stand out from the rest of the Maxima's around here. Not to many people will have these unless they make some more.

I agree that takes away from the car. I like a smooth slick refined look which I think a Maxima should have...

 

Color matching the housing would look a lot better than chrome. It would give the car a much more refined look, without losing the sporty aspect. If I got some, I'd have to take that road.

 

I completely agree. Although, I thought the previous pics of the white max with the alt's on the back looked really damn good. If I had a white max, I'd consider buying them. But it's a black max, and frankly I think the red/white's look like they belong there than those.

 

oro? No offense, but I reallllly don't like that too much. It makes your car look like every modded integra and civic out there, plus it doesn't match too well...ah well, if you like them then that's good!

just as good as those altezza's on a max? No altezza's at all, hell i personally think the car would look better with big black holes in the back of the car instead of those rear lites

 

I think the whole Altezza idea would be a good idea if there were headlights to match. Why make rear and no heads?

 

Those do NOT go on your black Max.! Listen, I'm all for Altezzas and have nothing against them. In fact I will most likely buy them for my WHITE Max. I just think they stand out like a sore thumb/clash on your black Max. If I were you, I would paint the mirror/chrome finish black/body color and it will look slick!! Hopefully they come apart - good luck.

now, take the altezza taillamps off, pry the clear cover off, PAINT THE CHROME parts around the red lamps, reseal and then....and only then... is it nice looking.

 

we can't have no altezzas on a BLACK max only the WHITE ones can have altezzas......I thought we had come so far from those days! HEHEHEHEHE.......

personally i don't like altezzas except on the lexus, i think it makes other cars look like toys, and kinda makes the maxima look cheap. just my opinion.

That's what I'm saying... As soon as I get mine, I'm either gonna take them appart to paint the clear outer to match my car color or get covers made to mask the clear to match body color leaving only red circles. Presto...the skyline look!

I USED to want altezzas till I saw these pics... On with the half red half clear.

 

not to put him down, but i think his pic doesnt show off the altezzas too well... his backgrounds look real bright and white looking, on he other post of the white max it isnt that bright... plus im not too fond of his spoiler and rims, ill see how mine look when i get them wednesday, hopefully ill like them and if not, ill sell them lol
