Have you ever raced your Maxima down a 1/4 mile dragway ?

Hey, just a quick post to any of you maxima owners who have made a pass down the local dragstrip. It would be cool if we could post up our numbers and support our maxima community online. At present the only place with a 1/4 mile database that has a maxima specific section is: www.dragtimes.com
Its a great resource to use, looking at 1/4 mile times, and mods for each generation maxima. It also becomes fun when you frequent the strip and try to better your e.t. and climb the charts.

thanks for your time, and helping build up the Maxima reputation and community. Maybe one day here at the org we will have our on database. (hint!)

I ran my car, as part of an experiment with my G-tech (wanted to compare G-tech to track) however my car is slow and I ran it in full street trim. Best run was 15.9xx at 88.x mph. Automatic with intake (short ram) and Y-pipe. I found after that night 16 sec drag cars are not for me..... I'll stick to tracks with corners or cones
I will say that the Max would make a good "bracket" car 6 of the 10 passes I made were 16.0 to 16.1
