BMW Orient Blue

I had an M3 in Estoril Blue, which had light gray overtones when the sun was out, but looked deeper at night. It was a pretty color, but seemed a bit too blue (like the Audi Nogaro Blue) - not classic enough for my tastes.

The Orient Blue is much richer, deep blue during the day, almost black at night.

However, the new blue available for the Maxima Anniversary Edition looks very nice in the brochure and on the Nissan web site, but I have never seen one in person (and it seems like no one else on this board has, either)...

nah, just that all the people in the import scene are hyped up on the EPB paint on the si. it's not a bad color, i like it. it's just what's trendy these days.

That is a HOT blue...seems to glow in the dark (day, even!).
As close to Fluorescent as you can get....

Too Tacky??

Why not go for a shade that you haven't seen yet on a Maxima? Has there ever been a platinum silver looking Maxima? I think that would be really nice looking. If you do go for a blue shade, go for one that everyone could tell it stands apart from all other blue. I have seen Shadow and this other Maxima(GurlMax or MaxGurl) with a custom blue paint. The two paint job look similar. I hope if you do get a blue shade, get something that will be totally different. Shock us please if you could!

I think the E36 M3 Daytona purple would be super unique on a Maxima. Not trendy but everyone will know it's not factory Nissan color. It's a nice dark metallic too.
