BlehmCo LTB on an auto max

We tried installing the BlehmCo LTB stage 1 on a 2k1 Auto maxima yesterday and saw absolutely no way to get that bar on with the auto transmission in the car. A 27mm socket will not fit over that bolt with the tranny in the way so the only way to get it off would be with a wrench. But, once you get the bar one, the design of the bar will not let you tighten that nut with anything but a socket. Is there some small detail that I am totally overlooking or is there just no way to do this? If there is in fact no way to do it with the tranny still in the car, there should really be a disclaimer on Matt's site explaining this.

Were you the one that emailed me this morning asking about it?

Try reading the installation instructions that I linked you to in my reply email. I list very specific instructions on how to install the tie bar when you have an automatic that are different from the 5 spd. That link is also printed on the original sales receipt.

You should only be using sockets when working on that area of a car.

Clean your throttle body, that'll fix it.
