What brand is every else using for window activation switch? Can you please describe your wiring scheme.

Here's how I hooked up my MSD window switch. I did get the 1 cylinder modification done by MSD.

Red - I connect this to the main nitrous +12V. It will get +12V only when I'm at WOT and the nitrous system arm switch is on.

Yellow - To my nitrous relay ground

White - To a negative of one of the coil. I believe black wire is a ground off the coil.

Black - Ground.

Bottom line, the switch is not activating the nitrous in the RPM range. I can see three possible problems.

1. The switch box itself is not working.
2. The red/+12V is getting power too late.
3. The coil negative ground is not really a good way to get the tach reading.

What does the tach wire off the ECU do? Does it give out +12 or ground pluses?

I duno, I use the "turbohawk" window switch.

Mine gets

power all the time
RPM signal
Ground
And a grounding wire, its the final ground for my nitrous systems relay, it only goes to ground when in the window rpm's.

I think SXR7 can help ya with the MSD

Matt,
Where did you tap for the RPM signal? I think that might be my problem.

i have the NOS window switch. mine gets 12V all the time, RPM signal from the ECU, Ground, and a grounding wire which is also my final ground for the nitrous relay - like matt's - it only goes to ground when in the window rpm's.

from the setup you described, i don't see how your RED wire works. where will it get the +12V to power your main nitrous when you are at WOT? in order for that to work you would need a 12V constant or switched wired in somewhere.
i think you should try to wire your setup like our setup. looking at the wires you described, it looks like it can be done the same way.

try this:
RED - 12V constant, maybe off your arming switch
YELLOW - nitrous relay ground, after your full throttle switch i assume.
WHITE - Tach wire off the ECU harness. This tach wire is a white wire with a green stripe. below is a picture of the ECU harness so you can see where the wire is. it's going to be wire #5.
BLACK - Chassis Ground
