You'll get it. Don's a first class business man. Group deals are probably extra hard for him since he does all the work himself..

I think there's a list for the VB. I emailed Don and he told me I'm number 9 on the list; said something about I have to wait about 2 weeks? I forgot. Don't worry, I'm sure Don can be trusted. Besides, I live in Louisiana, if I don't get my VB, I can go to Houston and hunt him down. J/K!

I hope Don dont see this...I would take it as a slap in the face and calling me a rip off...As far as I know Don is a good guy and would never rip someone off...At my company we take peoples money long before they get product some business work differently.

guys....also consider that he lives in houston and they just got drenched b/c of that tropical storm with over $1B in damage. im sure other things are on his priority list right now, which should be understandable. Give him some time.

I was #1 on the list. =) But I think he skipped me cuz I told him I didnt want to do it yet. But I wanted to do it this saturday. I e-mailed him and no reply. Maybe he is out of town. Maybe I'll have to do it next sat now. Not that I really care.. =) I still don't have all the stuff I need to start. Like the gasket.

Chill.

I would have emailed you sooner, but the first time you didn't leave me a name or screen name so I had no clue who you were. You responded a day later and told me who you were. I emailed you the status. When you are 2nd to last to confirm on a group deal of this size, you won't be first to get yours

Recent flooding in Houston (big news here) has also taken its toll on the town and priorities have shifted slightly this week. We didn't even have internet access until late Monday. I've responded to every email I've received. If someone hasn't received a response from me about a question, shoot it to me again.

Please don't try to make this bigger than what it is. People tend to believe the first thing they hear, whether they have the right info or not

Obviously the previous replys to this thread speak for them selves

Don

You see, Don still here. The recent flooding has been a major headache for us all in the south. Like I said, I live in Louisiana, and we got more than our fair share of the flooding. I got lucky and my car wasn't damaged. Too bad a few of my neighbors weren't so lucky. So, yeah...hold your horse radish. You'll get it soon enough. So, where's mine Don?

Hey Don...

I wasn't in on the group deal(Didn't have the money. Still don't), but I was still interested in the VB mod. The thing is, I don't have the mechanical skills and probably couldn't install it myself. I can't have much downtime with the car either. [b]However/b], I do live in Katy, right outside of Houston, and it wouldn't take long to get to your shop at all. If I got the mod and just showed up at your place, could we do the core swap and installation there? That would help out a lot.

The new issue of Turbo had a lot of Q&A with Level 10 about auto trannies, and the answer about better valve bodies helping the tranny life definitely caught my eye. I already knew about the added performance from your mod, but I think that fact sold me.
