just because its JDM doesnt mean its great...its a ve30, not even a vq30. If I were you, I'd opt for a vq35.

127k isnt too bad for a VQ if its been cared for properly.
My last motor had over 212k and it was running just fine.
Id rather have the VQ then trying to do a swap for a motor that wouldnt give any gains.

Depends on how much you wish to spend and what exactly your trying to gain.
If you want to do a low cost swap just to gain longer life do a VQ30 swap. The motors can be found for cheap. I bought my VQ30 for 460.00 shipped.
If your looking more of a performance gain, do the VQ35, it will cost a bit more, and the swap isnt a direct swap more theres more power to be had with that setup.

What would i be gaining if i went from vq30 to the vq35, what makes it special, what kind of horsepower and torque gains do you get. i just want to know cause these guys are flaming me, and i want to be more educated.

Oh now I understand. You were actually serious about the swap

What would be the best engine to replace yours with? Another VQ30 of course.

the thing about this car, it was meticulously maintained, this lady had all her sevice records, the car is from new england, and just lets say its hard to find a car that has almost no rot on it, and this one had none, and the steering is still tight, you can tell by the way it rides and drives it was pampered, so i want to keep it, its a good platform to get started again.

if it was maintained than 99.9% that your engine does not need replacement. 127k miles is nothing (well almost nothing) for VQ. Unless you want to drop in VQ35, leave the engine alone.

is the swap worth it if i put a VQ35, and what tranny do you recommend because i am doing that no matter what i decide to do to the engine

no sense in getting all the info from here. go read the threads and then come back with specific questions if you get stuck. don't start a thread saying 'how do i drop a new engine in?' and expect answers. you will get none.

now lock this crap and come back when you've tried to learn a few things on your own.

Your floormats suck at life and so do you. Everyone here is tired of the crap that you post. Looks like you nutted up between these two posts and did a little half @ss research

WTF are you talking about? Try reading the page moron the Altezzas were the first thing I took off when I bought the car. And I already sold them so don't bother asking fheg. And it really doesn't bother me that you don't like the Trenz billet (since I know you're an idiot) but what exactly about my car is rice?

Look around I know that I've posted before telling you to donate and search. Or do you seriously think you're the first person to ask the question? Or do think that everyone here is simply hanging out waiting to spring into action and answer whatever moronic question comes to mind? You are not doing research you are trying to get spoon fed. And you will continue to get flamed for it.
