Well I got the July 2001 issue of Road and Track and was reading it tonight when I saw something I thought we would like on the org. This guy was responding to the article in an earlier issue where the BMW 330i, Lexus IS300, Mercedes-Benz C320, and the Volvo S60 TS were tested. This is what it said:
"All four cars you tested were on my five-car list for my new-car purchase. After test-drives, price comparisons and checking reports in previous editions of Road & Track, I ended up buying the other car on my list. The car I bought has similar performance and features to the four you tested, yet costs considerably less. The new car in my driveway? A 2001 Nissan Maxima.

Gotta love it.
Also, I can't believe that the new Kia Optima has a tiptronic!! Where is one for the Maxima? Oh well, I was bored so I thought I would share.

It's a shame that the mags will not give the Max its due. They know the Max is in the class with those cars except for the price. They are always "jocking" cars from Europe anyway.
