I live in Elizabeth, NJ and want somebody to take a look at my a/c before the hot summer days. It works, it's just not as cold as I think it should be. Can anybody recommend a shop? It doesn't have to be in elizabeth, but not too far either (30-40 min).

Any automotive repair place with A/C equipment can check your system.
Ask some local garages, I'm sure you'll find plenty with A/C gauges in your neighborhood.
